Sits directly on the control pedal and on the stretcher on the right. Through this fitting, the control pedal is fastened to the bottom of the keel by means of a long screw that runs right and left through the fitting. The part that is screwed to the bottom of the keel is rubberized on the inside so that the wood is not attacked.
