Product information “Kimmstabhalter”

These are the black (formerly blue) plastic parts that sit on each frame on the right and left and into which the chin rods are pressed.

If you still have the “old” blue chin bar holder attached to your boat, you can remove the remains with gentle force with a pair of pliers or you can take care of the rivet right away. To do this, drill the rivet from the back (where there is no washer) with a drill (drill thickness: 3 mm) until the rivet base ring simply pops off. The rivet can then be knocked through with a thinner pin (2.5 mm, if you are careful it can also be a 3 mm pin or drill). Simply hold the new trim bar holder, place the washer from the front and push the rivet through. Turn the bulkhead around, lay it on neatly and knock the rivet foot round with a hammer. Finished!

Delivery: 1 piece including rivets and washers.
